Death

Sympathy is extended to the family, relatives and friends of Sheila Campbell, (nee Connor), London and formerly of Ballymachugh, Ballycastle who has died (Mother of Anne Tighe, Ballymachugh) .

Funeral arriving to St. Bridget's Church, Ballycastle on Thursday evening at 8.00p.m.

Mass on Friday at 12.00noon followed by burial in Ballycastle Cemetery .

May she rest in peace.

 

Athletic Club

Ballycastle A.C. would like to thank all of our generous sponsors who supported the club in running our annual Ballycastle 10k Coastal Challenge recently. A big thank you to everyone who helped out in organising and running the event on the day.

Athletic Training will re-commence on Friday August 26th at 7pm at the local pitch.

Tourism meeting

Tourism meeting in Ballycastle on Wednesday August 17th at 8pm in Ballycastle Community Hall with Anne-Marie Flynn from Mayo North Promotions office.

All are welcome to attend, particularly those involved in tourism, or thinking about setting up a tourism-related business in Ballycastle or Belderrig to meet the team from Mayo North, talk about future tourism-related initiatives and ideas for Ballycastle/Belderrig and see how we can support each other.

The Ballinglen Arts Foundation, Ballycastle

Irish Artist Mick O'Dea 15th July - 21st August 2016 at the Ballinglen Gallery, Ballycastle.
Art work exhibited includes portraits by Mick O'Dea of Tom Clarke, Eamon de Valera , Patrick Pearse and James Connolly to name but a few of up to 20 wonderful portraits in total.
