done to Michéal Forde who has made the Mayo minor squad
for the coming season. Michéal played a vital roll
at centre half back on the Mayo Minors winning the Connacht
Minor League recently. The Mayo Minors will play in the preliminary
round of the Connacht MFC on June 5th in Markievicz Park ,
Sligo and Michéal is wished the best of luck from the

Sessions on LEADER Grants
Mayo
North East LEADER Partnership Company wish to inform individuals
and Community Groups about LEADER grant aid under the Rural
Development Programme 2007 – 2013 and other programmes and
services the company is involved in.
Grant
Aid is available for enterprise, communities, heritage, tourism,
training, village enhancement, local amenities etc.
An
information session, open to everyone, will be held on Wednesday
19th May at 9.00p.m. in the Community Hall, Ballycastle. Two
other sessions will be held on Monday 17th May in the Community
Centre, Bofeenaun and on Monday 24th May in the Gateway Hotel,
Swinford.
These
sessions are free of charge, so why not come and find out
how Mayo North East can support you or your area.

as a weekend for returning home.
Baile
an Chaisil are playing in the All-Ireland Gaeltacht tournament
on the weekend of 4th-7th June, in Belmullet. The team is
due to play their quarter-final on the Saturday against Belmullet
so the lads need as much support as possible. Having contested
the finals last year in Rosmuc, you can be assured of a brilliant
weekend of football, craic agus gaeilge with over 10,000 people
descending on the Erris town
