Mayo West Sligo Heritage Group will be hosting a lecture on
the Tower Houses of County Mayo. The talk will touch on geographical
and physical analysis of structures in Mayo and provide historiography
for a selection. There are approx 49 such structures in Co.
Mayo and a good example of one such structure exists at Ballinglen.
If you would like to learn more information on such structures,
please come along to this lecture.
