Art class is back in Ballycastle Community Hall starting Thursday 21st September. The class offers something for everyone, from painting, drawing and printmaking.

Healthy Food Made Easy

Healthy Food Made Easy is a fun course where you will learn to cook healthy meals on a budget.

It begins in Ballycastle Community Hall on 18 th September at 7.00pm. The course is Free and will be every Monday for 6 weeks. The emphasis throughout the course is on group learning and talking rather than formal teaching.

Céide Coast Half Marathon & 10k

Céide Coast Half Marathon and 10k Coastal Challenge will take place on Saturday 23rd September at 12noon. Registration is online only http://www.ceidecoasthalfmarathon.com

 

The Half Marathon will commence at the Céide Fields Visitor Centre and will follow the coast road, passing Ballycastle beach before proceeding to the famous Downpatrick Head.

The race will enter the headland where the runner will get a chance to run 500m

off-road, and an opportunity to view the spectacular Dún Briste sea stack (weather dependent). From there, the race will return to the main road and will finish in Ballycastle village. Refreshments will be available in Ballycastle Community Hall.

 

Barn Dance

Tickets are on sale for Barn Dance 2023 in Ballycastle Community Hall on Saturday 14th October at 8pm. Tickets are €20 per person and it's promised to be a night not to be missed. Live Music with The Paul Kelly Band and Sweeney Macs.

Flourish Social Prescribing Service are bringing The John Hoban Music Circle to Belderrig Community Centre on Tuesday October 3rd from 7-8.30pm. All are welcome to come listen, sing a song, tell a joke or share a story. You can turn up on the night or ring the below number to discuss transport options.

 

Flourish Social Prescribing Service is run through The Family Centre in Castlebar and works to connect people to activities & social opportunities in their area. This project is funded by Creative Ireland & Sláintecare.
