Public Meeting

Public meeting re Downpatrick Head Project on Tuesday 20th May at 8.00p.m. in the Resource Centre. Danny O'Toole, Project Manager will attend to answer any queries people might have.

Art Exhibition

The Women's Art Group are launching their Annual Art Exhibition on Saturday 31st May'14 (June weekend Bank Holiday ) at 8.30p.m. Fáilte arís.

The official opening will be launched by Nuala Clarke, Ballinglen Art Foundation member.

The following ladies are producing new works: Rita Langan, Mary Delaney, Margaret Kelly, Sue Upton, Mauretti Bn Uí Fhlatharta, Ann O'Gorman, Ellen Stagg, Florrie McBrien and Cath Doores.

The venue is the Resource Centre Art Gallery , Main Street , Ballycastle.

Cheese & Wine reception. Open Invitation. Please support and have an enjoyable night.

The Exhibition will open on Bank Holiday Monday 12.00noon – 4.00p.m. and will remain open Monday – Friday 10.00a.m. – 5.00p.m.

Giro de Baile an Chaisil

Calling all cyclists, dust down the bikes as the Giro de Baile an Chaisil takes place on Sunday August 3rd at 10:30am.

Hosted by Baile an Chaisil Cycling Club, the Giro follows a wonderfully scenic course from Ballycastle Village right along the North Mayo Coast cycling right into the heart of Erris. 3 routes to choose from: 140km, 60km and 10km family route so you have plenty of time to get pedalling and getting in shape.

Ballycastle Coastal Challenge

Ballycastle 10k Coastal Challenge road race/fun run takes place this year on 28th June and will introduce a 6k fun run/walk route in addition to the 10k.

Craft Shop is located in the Resource Centre, Upper Main Street stocking goods by local craftworkers e.g. knitwear, crochet, handmade cards, wooden bowls, cushions, cot quilts, etc.

Ballycastle souvenir items e.g. candles, fridge magnets, keyrings, biros, teabag holders, St. Brigid's crosses, Mayo Crystal and a range of other items.
