Breakfast Morning

Kiddies Korner are holding a Breakfast Morning in the Playschool on Friday 16th October. All donations in aid of Childline.

Garda Brian McGuire will attend in Suifinn way on Wednesday 21st October from 2 – 3p.m. regarding the security for senior citizens in the area.

Community Alert

Ballycastle Community Alert are setting up a text alert system in Ballycastle and surrounding areas. A text alert system would enable people in the community to be informed of any suspicious activity taking place in their area. A once-off registration fee of €20, to fund signage and texts, will apply. 50/50 Draw:

Winner of this week's GAA 50/50 Draw was Alice Healy, Glencalry who won €360.

 

Card Game:

The club are in the process of selling tickets for the 25 Card game on Friday 30th October.

 

Mayo Forest Rally

The Mayo Mini-stage Forest Rally takes place on Sunday 18th October in the Ballycastle and Garranard areas. Service Area for the event is planned for Main Street in Ballycastle and therefore Main Street will be closed, with the permission of the Gardai and Mayo County Council, between 11.00a.m. and 5.00p.m. The street will be closed between the junction of Dominick Street and the junction of the R315 Crossmolina road. A one-way system may be employed to minimise disruption. The competing crews will avail of two service opportunities during the event and this will offer local residents and spectators alike, the chance to see the cars and crews in close proximity. Residents are asked to please park outside of the designated service area on the day in order to keep the street clear of parked cars.

Golf Society

Next outing is to Carna Golf Club, Belmullet on Saturday 31st October.

Art appreciation and technique for Adults, for absolute beginners to near professionals. Spend a few sociable hours and try your hand at something new. No experience needed. 5 weeks on Thursdays starting October 8th, 1pm-3pm at Ballycastle Community Hall.

Athletic Club

Karen Hendy Exhibition

Exhibition ' The Littoral' by Irish Artist Karen Hendy continues until 30th October 2015 at the Ballinglen Arts Foundation, Ballycastle.

Irish Dancing Classes
