Baile an Chaisil clg would like to take this opportunity to thank all who helped out throughout the year with  County Board tickets, bag-packing, card game, race night and local businesses who helped out in any way.  Thanks also to Maeve Dunne and Mary Hefferon for advertising any news throughout the year in the Western People and the local bulletin. We are in the process of a hair-raiser where ex players, current players and locals are going to have their heads shaved. dyed, waxed etc.  The hair-raiser will take place on the 28th December in Mac Hales, Belderrig. Please support.   Also a reminder that the local St. Stephens Day game between East and West will take place at 1.00pm .

Christmas Mass

Children of Scoil Naomh Bríd will host a Christmas Mass on Wednesday 22nd December at 7.30p.m. in St. Brigid's Church. All welcome.



Sympathy is extended to the family, relatives and friends of John Francis Coyne, Galway who died recently (uncle of Breda , Ballycastle National School ).


N.S. Fundraiser

Ballycastle National School will hold a Cake Sale in the school on Saturday 18th December after Vigil Mass.


Writers Group

Ballycastle Writers Group anthology of short stories and poems “Far to Go” is now available in Ballycastle Resource Centre, Mary's Kitchen, Polkes and McNamees for €10. Part profits to go to two local charities.


Over 55's Club

Over 55's Club continues on Wednesday mornings at 10.00a.m. in Suífinn Way Daycare Centre. All welcome.
