Anniversary of Lacken Drowning Disaster

On 28th October 1927, nine fishermen from Lacken lost their lives in a sudden storm.

The annual Mass in memory of the drowned will be commemorated at Lacken Pier on Sunday 26th October at 3.30pm (bank holiday weekend).

All are welcome to come and take time to remember and honour those lost – ‘gone but never forgotten'.

 

Halloween Events

October 8th - 29th 7-9pm. in Ballycastle Community Hall led by Nuala Clarke.
