St. Patrick's Day Parade

National School training

National School training on Saturdays at 1pm in Tom Langan Park .

 

The Club would like to thank Margaret  Ormsby, Patricia Loftus, Martin Tighe, Joe Gardiner, Niall Murphy and Máirtín Flannery who organised the National School trip to the Mayo v Kerry game. The result didn't go our way but the children had a great day and represented the village and their School with pride. It was such a success the club hope to make this an annual event.

 

Kiddies Korner Super Draw

Kiddies Korner Super Draw will soon be coming to an end with the second of our draws to take place shortly. Facebook Training

Facebook training for local community groups will be held in The Foxford Sports & Leisure Centre on Tuesday April 5th 2016 from 7pm – 10pm.  People attending this training will need to have basic computer skills and the goal is to be able to set up a Facebook page for community groups.  This training is free and is funded under the Social Inclusion & Community Activation Programme.  As numbers are limited early booking is important.   I will only take one person from each group at the moment but may be able to take more nearer the time. The training will be provided by 2market Training.

Golf Society

Next outing is to Westport Golf Club on 26th March. 1st tee is booked for 11am so please be there for 10.30am. Contact David Alexander on 0877965090 for more information. Visitors and new members welcome.

Our away outing this year is the weekend of the 16/17 June to Salthill, staying at the Clayburn Hotel, playing Tuam Golf Course on the way down on Friday and playing Barna Golf Course on the Saturday. Anyone interested in going can contact Gerry Henry on 0879391689 for more information.

Cycling Club

Club Spins for Members have been changed to 8am on Sundays from the Shambles.
If you know anyone interested in getting into cycling for beginners, Couch to the Giro continues at 9am on Saturdays from the Shambles, Ballycastle. All you need is a Bike (any), a Helmet and Motivation.

 

Athletic Club

Ballycastle Athletic Club training on Saturday mornings at 10am at the football pitch –junior and senior infants meet at the Community Hall.

Opening times for the Gymnasium in Ballycastle Community Hall are:

Monday – Friday 9.00a.m. – 1.00p.m. and 5.00p.m. – 9.00p.m.

Saturday 10.00a.m. – 1.30p.m.

Prices: €5 per visit, €20 per month, €50 for 3 months or €120 per year.

 

Craft Shop

Craft Shop is located in the Resource Centre, Upper Main Street stocking goods by local craftworkers e.g. knitwear, crochet, handmade cards, wooden bowls, cushions, cot quilts, etc.

Ballycastle souvenir items e.g. candles, fridge magnets, keyrings, bookmarks, biros, teabag holders, St. Brigid's Crosses, Mayo Crystal and a range of other items.

Tourist Information, Photocopying, Laminating, Typing.
