Ballycastle Parish Community Games will be held on Friday 19th May at 7.00.m. at Ballycastle Football Pitch. All welcome. Successful athletes will go on to represent the Parish in Claremorris on

Sunday July 2nd at the Mayo Community Games.

Congratulations to Micheal Forde who captained the Mayo Juniors to victory in the

Connacht Semi Final v Sligo last Wednesday. Unfortunately they were defeated by Leitrim in the Connacht Final this Wednesday 17th .

North Mayo Junior A Championship: Ardagh v Ballycastle on Saturday 20th May at 6.00p.m. in Ardagh.

Result:

Match scheduled for Sunday May 14th was conceded by Garrymore.

Couch to Giro

Couch to Giro starts on the 24th May from the Church Car Park at 7.30p.m.  The couch to giro is a

10 week free program that's been designed to get just about anyone from the couch to cycling in the

Giro de Baile on August 6th. All welcome, especially if you are new to cycling or have'nt been on a bike in years. Call Máirtin 0863225128 for more information.

Weekend away:

Ballycastle Cycling Club weekend away is planned for September 9th in Ballycastle, Co. Antrim to take part in the Giants Causeway coast sportive 57km, 126km and 182km. Any non club member who would like to come along will be made more than welcome. Contact Máirtin Flannery for more details.

The Giro de Baile will take place this year on Sunday 6th August ( Bank Holiday Weekend) at 9.00.am. from Main Street , Ballycastle.

Now in its fourth year, this year's event is hosted by Baile an Chaisil Cycling Club.

There is a choice of 3 routes - 146km, 104km or 60km.
