                                                      3. Start CPR immediately while awaiting responder and emergency                                                            services.

Death

The death occurred on Saturday 6th of John (Jack) Hunt, Carrowcubic. Sympathy is extended to his wife Philomena, sons Seán, Liam, Kevin and Derek, daughters Anne, Caroline and Gabriel, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.

Céide Fields Conference

A conference on the 40years of research into the hugely important archaeology and palaeoenvironment of North Mayo will be held on November 20th and 21st . On Saturday, the detailed results of the research will be presented in a day long seminar in the Belderrig Research and Study Centre. On Sunday morning, there will be site visits to Rathlacken and Belderrig and in the afternoon there will be public talks and discussions in the Céide Fields Visitor Centre. Craft Fair

Annual Christmas Craft Fair will take place in Ballycastle Resource Centre on Saturday 27th November from 8.30p.m. – 10.00p.m. and Sunday 28th November from 12.00noon – 4.00p.m. New Exhibitors and lots of gift ideas. Mulled Wine reception on Saturday night. Admission free and all welcome.

Raffle on Saturday night (approx 9.15p.m. ) for Hamper (value €100),    2nd prize: Painting;

3rd: Wooden Lamp Stand;   4th: Pair candlesticks;     5th: Bottle of Wine;

6th: Box of Biscuits;   7th: Box of Chocolates.

Tickets, 2euro each, are now on sale in local businesses.
