Celebrating 10 years

‘Dún Briste' Art & Craft Shop, Ballycastle is open 10years this month.   It was set up, and is still run, by Ballycastle Women's Group.   In 2000, the group designed their own Logo, featuring ‘Dún Briste' a majestic sea stack at nearby Downpatrick Head, and have Keyrings, Polo Shirts, T-Shirts and Baseball Caps with this logo for sale in the shop.   The group also designed a keepsake card and this is attached to all knitwear products.

Situated in the Resource Centre on Main Street, it is open Monday – Friday from

10-00.a.m. – 5.00p.m.    It stocks a large range of handmade crafts and paintings by local artists and provides fax, photocopying, laminating and internet services.   The Tourist Office is also located here.

To celebrate 10years in business, we are holding a one-week sale with 10% discount on all crafts and paintings in the shop.    To organise this, and the fact that the Craft Shop is being re-decorated for the occasion, the shop will be closed for one day on Friday 27th July.   It will re-open on Monday 30th July with the 10% sale.

We would like to thank Ballycastle/Belderrig Development Company for all their support, Moy Valley Resources for funding, Women of the North West, FÁS and the Rural Social Scheme for providing staff.   A special thank you to all our customers who have supported us over the years.   We look forward to your continued support.
