Culture Night

Culture Night at the Ballinglen Arts Foundation, Ballycastle.

“Culture is catching in venues and public spaces across the island of Ireland and the Ballinglen Arts Foundation once again this year host a programme of free late-night entertainment, as part of an all-island celebration of arts, heritage and culture.  Returning for its 14th year, Culture Night 2019 will take place on Friday 20th September.” Opening from  6.30pm . to 8.30p.m.

Rose de Groot exhibition continues in the Ballinglen Gallery.  Rose will perform short poetry readings about her paintings on the night, adult and children's instant origami book workshop with Alice Austin, Amy Metier children's workshop “painting outrageous hats” - silly, fantastic & fun hats!! Your imaginary hat can be dripping with flowers, wild animals, food or whatever you like! Open Studios.

Refreshments served. Everyone welcome. This is a family friendly event, do come along and enjoy!

 

Harvest Service

A Harvest Service will be held in St. John's Church, Ballycastle on Sunday 6th October at 8.00p.m. Everyone is welcome.

 

Tractor Run

West Coast Vintage Society are holding a memorial Tractor Run for Basil Petrie on Sunday 6th October, starting at Killala Community Centre. Registration at 11.00a.m. All proceeds going to Cancer Care West. All are welcome. Please support.

 

Half Marathon & 10k

Belderrig Church

The Rededication & 150th Anniversary of St. Teresa's Church, Belderrig will take place on

Sunday 20th October at 3.00p.m. Bishop John Fleming will officiate.

Opening times for the Gymnasium in Ballycastle Community Hall are:

Monday – Friday 9.00a.m. – 1.00p.m. and 5.00p.m. – 9.00p.m.

Saturday 10.00a.m. – 1.30p.m.

Prices: €5 per visit, €20 per month, €50 for 3 months or €120 per year.
