St. Patrick's Day Parade

A large crowd turned out for a very enjoyable Parade in Ballycastle. Thanks to Collette and the West Coast Vintage Society for organising the Parade, The Jackson Family and Michael Kelly who provided the music, Seán O'Grady MC and to all who took part in the parade.

Prizewinners were: The Nealon Family, Murphy School of Irish Dancing,

Kiddies Korner Playschool and Ballycastle Cycling Club.



Congratulations and best wishes for the future Barbara Tighe, Muingreevagh and Richard Bourke, Tipperary who were married in St. Bridget's Church, Ballycastle on Saturday 15th March.


Quiz Winners

Congratulations to Ray Finnerty, Cara Gilvarry, Shane Whelan, Dympna Moyles and Mickey Moyles who were the winners of the table quiz in Healys on Friday 14th .

Charity Cycle

In aid of The Irish Kidney Association, Charity Cycle takes place on Saturday 29th March 2014 starting at Katie Macs, Ballycastle.
Start Time: 11am
Cost: €20.00
Rules: Helmets must be worn at all times. All participants must register before
taking part in the event and sign a disclaimer. Rules of the road must be adhered to at all times. Please follow all directions from marshals.
Route: 85 km
Registration on the day from 10:30a.m. at Katie Macs.

Golf Society

Next outing is to Rosses Point 9 hole 29/3/2014

Over 55's Club

Over 55's Keep Fit continues in Suífinn Way Centre every Tuesday at 11.30a.m. Outside fitness equipment available to all adults in Suífinn Way Centre.

Art Exhibition by Ballycastle Art Group is open Monday – Friday 10.00a.m. – the Resource Centre Gallery, Ballycastle.



Craft Shop

Craft Shop is located in the Resource Centre, Upper Main Street stocking goods by local craftworkers e.g. knitwear, crochet, handmade cards, wooden bowls, cushions, cot quilts, etc.

Ballycastle souvenir items e.g. candles, fridge magnets, keyrings, biros, teabag holders, St. Brigid's crosses and more.

Also, Paintings by local artists, Mayo Crystal and a range of other items.
