Ballycastle team made an historic trip to Clare Island on Sunday 8th.   Players and supporters enjoyed a beautiful day and we did come away with a win.

Local Band ‘Sonic Reducer' are making their first appearance in Killala on Saturday night (21st ) in the Tower Bar.

Creative Writing Workshop

Cathal Ó Searcaigh, Force 12 Writer in Residence sponsored by Mayo Co. Council, will conduct a workshop in creative writing in Ballycastle Resource Centre on Friday 27th May   7.00p.m. – 9.00p.m.    This workshop is open to everybody and it is hoped it will lead to more members becoming involved with the group who participated in the very successful V.E.C. run course in Ballycastle earlier this year.    O'Searcaigh's workshops are much in demand to we hope people will attend and you can look forward to his readings of his own work.    This workshop is free and open to all.

 

Women's Group

Meeting on Thursday 26th,   8.00 – 9.00p.m. in the Resource Centre.   All members please attend.   Quilt for raffle on Sunday June 5th will be on display.   All are welcome to come in and view the quilt or you are welcome to call into Craft Shop during opening hours: 10.00a.m. – 5.00p.m.   Monday – Friday.
