Sympathy is extended to the family, relatives and friends of Patrick Irwin, late of Glenamoy

who died recently (Brother of Sarah Doherty).

May he rest in peace.

 

Sympathy is also extended to the family, relatives and friends of Liam Sampey who died recently (Brother-in-law of Des Gribbin)

Church Notices

Masses that were due to be said at this time: The intentions are remembered by Fr. Conlon in private Masses he offers each week.

First Confessions: First Confessions that were due to take place are now postponed.

First Communion: First Communion that was arranged for May will most likely be postponed.

Weddings: Three weddings that were to have taken place have been postponed.

First Friday Communion calls: Calls cannot be done at the moment.

 

St. Bridget's Church is open daily for anyone who wishes to visit for quiet prayer.

 

Easter arrangements

 

Update from Fr. Conlon, PP Ballycastle:

 

Masses have been said in private by me on three occasions this week for the following intentions:

Francie & Annie Donoghue RIP, Eddie Gilmartin RIP, John Maughan (Month's Mind), Deceased Langan Family, Ballymachugh, Tom Davin RIP, Patrick Irwin RIP, Liam Sampey RIP.

 

We will be unable to provide palm on Palm Sunday and will be unable to bless Easter Holy Water for Easter Sunday morning.

 

Ballycastle and Belderrig Churches will be closed on Good Friday and Holy Saturday. This is in the interest of health and safety of all our parishioners.

 

The Mass of the Lord's Supper will be celebrated in St. Muredach's Cathedral, Ballina on

Thursday 9th April at 7.00p.m. and will be available on webcam.

 

Easter Vigil will be celebrated in St. Muredach's Cathedral on Holy Saturday at 8.00p.m. and will be available on webcam.

 

Easter Sunday Masses on webcam from St. Muredach's Cathedral at 8.00a.m., 11.00a.m. and 12.30p.m.

 

The obligation to fulfil the Easter duty is suspended this year.

 

All decisions regarding Church notices are decided by myself and Bishop John Fleming.

 

Radio Masses

Mass from Kilfian Parish Church will be on radio 107.9FM each Sunday at 11.00a.m.
