We extend a big Thank You to Joe Greene who retired recently after 19years of dedicated service to Tidy Towns, also to his wife Ann for her kind help and support through all those years.

We wish Joe and Ann many happy years in retirement.

Breege Gallagher R.I.P.

 

The death occurred on Thursday 26th January of Breege Gallagher, wife of retired Sgt. Danny Gallagher. The Gallagher family lived in Ballycastle from 1978 to 1985. Breege was an active member of Community Care, Athletics and Feiseanna in the area. Breege is survived by her husband Danny, sons Seán and Donal, daughters Anne and Deirdre, brothers, sisters, in-laws and 4 grandchildren. A large crowd from Ballycastle attended her removal and burial. May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace.

Suifinn Way Day Care Activities

Monday & Friday: 3 course nourishing dinner available between 12.15p.m. and 1.15p.m.

Tuesday: Fit for life exercise group meet at 11.00a.m. for their weekly session followed by light refreshments and a game of “Boccia”.

Thursday: Presently there is a creative writing course taking place from 7 – 9p.m. for the next twelve

weeks.

On the last Thursday of each month Ballycastle Book Club meet from 9pm – 10.30pm to discuss the previous month's book choice. Light refreshments are served and there is usually good banter and laughter – newcomers welcome.
