St. Patrick's Day Parade

Well done to the organisers and to all who took part in this year's very enjoyable St. Patrick's Day parade. Thanks to the Jackson Family for providing the music and Noel Kelly for his commentary on the parade.

Trophy for the best overall entry went to the Ballycastle Marching Band with music teacher Maria Ruane. Most Entertaining award went to Seán O'Grady and John Walsh. Most Unusual award to the Nealon family and most original to Daniel Healy, Patrick Tomas and Vincent Healy.

Deaths

Sympathy is extended to the family, relatives and friends of Betty O'Leary, Cork (nee Forde,) who died last week (Sister of Patrick Forde, Heathfield) .

 

Sympathy is also extended to the family, relatives and friends of Joe Mahon who died recently

(Brother-in-law of Mary Delaney and Mickey Burke) .

Ballycastle GAA will launch their Development Plan in Healy's on Easter Sunday Night. We will also present our Club Person, Player of the Year and Hall of Fame awards on the night. We would like to thank everyone who contributed to preparing the development plan for their hard work.

Art Class on Mondays at 7.00p.m. in Suífinn Way Centre. All welcome.

 

Irish Dancing classes continue every Monday and Thursday, in St John's Hall, Ballycastle from 5pm till 6.30pm. New members are always welcome.  Children can start from age 3 up.
