Annual Field Day

West Coast Vintage Society Annual Field Day will take place at the football pitch, Ballycastle on Sunday next 24th May from 12.00noon – 6.00p.m. featuring:

Flower Festival in St. John's Church (Main Street), Vintage Motor Bikes, Vintage Tractors, Vintage Cars, Vintage Lorries, Retro Cars, Modern Motorcycles, Dog Show, Blacksmith, Working Tractors Exhibit, Wood Turning, Amusements, Crafts Display, Trade Stands, Spinning, Butter Making, Stationary Engines, Steam Engines, Old Style Threshing, Model Steam Engines, Basket Weaving, Sean Nós Dancing and Lovely Ladies Competition. Entertainment by “Seamus Moore” – the JCB Man.

Welcome Inn Senior League:

Ballycastle Played Claremorris in the Mayo Senior League and suffered a heavy defeat in Claremorris with a final score of 2 - 10 to 0- 4 in favour of the home side. Claremorris were the better team for the entire match and ran our deserved winners.

'Kiddies Korner'

A meeting for parents of children aged 2 ½ upwards is being held in Kiddies Korner Playschool, Ballycastle on Tuesday 2nd June at 8.00p.m. Information on two new schemes for children going to

playschool will be discussed. A member of Mayo Co. Childcare will attend.

 

Art Classes

Art Classes, with Sue, continue on Monday nights at 7.00p.m. in the Resource Centre. Beginners and all welcome. New pictures on display in Art Gallery in the Resource Centre. All welcome to come in and browse.
