Don Baker lined up for Healyfest

The annual Healyfest Music Festival will take place on Saturday 31st July and Sunday 1st August in Healy's Pub. There will be an open mic night on Saturday night from

9 p.m. onwards where everyone is welcome to come along and play or sing.

Sunday sees the action taking place on the main stage from 1 p.m. til late with a strong line up of bands from the locality and nationwide - including the internationally renowned Don Baker, who makes his first appearance at the Festival on Sunday at 7 p.m.

Other bands on the line up include The Spirits, The Voyeurs, The Gandhi's, Lambda, The Reelists, The Alterboys and many more. Admission is €10, Children free.

Lotto Winner

Congratulations to Seamus Ormsby, Killena, Ballycastle who won the Lotto Jackpot of €2,700 on Saturday night last.

No's drawn were: 2. 4. 11. 15.

Next Saturday's Jackpot €1,000. Draw will be held in Katie Macs.

Art Exhibition

Ballycastle Women's Art Group Annual Art Exhibition ‘Beyond Horizons' will take place on Saturday 31st July in the Resource Centre, Ballycastle. Official opening, with cheese and wine, at 8.30p.m. by Tony D'Arcy. All welcome. Exhibition will open on Sunday 1st and Monday 2nd August from 12.00noon – 4.00p.m. and will remain open Monday – Friday from 10.00a.m. – 5.00p.m. Tel: 096-43946.

Artists taking part this year with all new works are: Mauretti Uí Flatharta, Sue Upton, Mary Delaney, Margaret Kelly, Ellen Stagg, Rita Langan, Hazel Kneafsey, Cath Doores, Florrie McBrien, Margaret Herbert.
