Scoil Naomh Bríd

The end of year Mass (which will include the graduation of 6th Class and the retirement of Mrs Maureen Burke) will take place in the church on Friday 30th June at 10.00a.m. This will be followed in the school by the raising of our fifth Green Flag for Biodiversity and the opportunity to wish Mrs Burke a fond farewell. All are welcome to this special occasion.

Golf Society

Next outing is to Esker Hills on the weekend of the 23rd /24th June. 

Tee time on Friday is booked for 2pm. Anyone playing that day please be there 30min before tee time.

Saturday is booked for 12.30pm., again anyone playing that day please be there for 12pm.

Retirement

Mrs Maureen Burke is retiring this year after 29 years teaching in Ballycastle.

We would like to put a memory book together of her teaching years which is 35 years in total. If you would like to email a short note of your memories with your name and year she taught you or even as a parent of a child that was taught by Mrs Burke that would be greatly appreciated.

Ballinglen Exhibition

A solo exhibition by Ron Rumford  'Coast Watcher' at the Ballinglen Gallery, Ballinglen Arts Foundation continues until June 26th 2017. In addition to his newest work we will install within the gallery, 'Giant Steps': 25 years of prints by Ballinglen Arts Foundation Fellows with works from the Foundation Archive by international artists.  Do come along and see these wonderful prints!

Giro de Baile

The Giro de Baile will take place this year on Sunday 6th August (Bank Holiday Weekend).

Three routes: 146km, 120km, and 60km – one for every type of fitness and ability.

Baile an Chaisil CC

Weekend away:

Ballycastle Cycling Club weekend away is planned for September 9th in Ballycastle, Co. Antrim to take part in the Giants Causeway coast sportive 57km, 126km and 182km. Any non club member who would like to come along will be made more than welcome. Contact Máirtin Flannery for more details.

 

Turbo Training:
