Parade

Well done to all who braved the wind and rain to take part in the St. Patrick's Day parade and to Seán O'Grady for organising it.

Congratulations to Ballycastle Book Club who won the ‘Best Overall Float' with “Silence of the Lambs”.

Death

The death occurred recently of Martin Tighe (Senior), Shanaghy, Ballycastle.

Sympathy is extended to his wife Eileen, sons Dermot, Martin and John, daughters Anne-Marie and Aileen, brothers Pat and Tommy, sister Sr. Attracta, grandchildren, extended family, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Instructor Cycling Course

The Giro de Baile will take place this year on Sunday 6th August (Bank Holiday Weekend) at 9.00.am. from Main Street , Ballycastle.

Now in its fourth year, this year's event is hosted by Baile an Chaisil Cycling Club.

There is a choice of 3 routes - 146km, 104km or 60km.
