Church gate collection

A Church gate collection, in aid of The Irish Pilgrimage Trust will take place on Saturday 26th and

Sunday 27th January. The Irish Pilgrimage Trust is a voluntary organisation which takes people with special needs to Lourdes every year at Easter. Each of the many groups which travel from Ireland consists of ten to twelve children and young adults with special needs. The groups are supported by a volunteer carer for each guest, a nurse and a priest, who fund all their own costs. The objective is two fold:

1. To give the parents/guardians a week of respite

2. To afford each guest an unforgettable holiday and the spiritual experience of this most special place.

Many thanks for your support in the past. Your generosity ensures that those among us with special needs have the opportunity of joining in this huge international celebration in Lourdes each Easter.
