St. Patrick's Day Parade

Well Done to the members of the West Coast Vintage Society and all involved in organising the St. Patrick's Day Parade and to all who took part in it. It was great to see the parade revived after a number of years and so many people taking part.

Winners for floats in the different categories were:

Best Presented Float: Mary Munnelly's Tea Rooms

Most Entertaining Float: “The Beach Babes” Sean O'Grady and John Walsh

Most Unusual: Elizabeth O'Donnell and her dogs.

G.A.A. Dinner Dance

Ballycastle G.A.A. Annual Dinner Dance will take place on Saturday next 26th March in Hiney's, Crossmolina starting at 8.00p.m. Tickets €25 must be bought by Friday 25 th . Music by The Country Boy.

Special Guest : Brian Ruane.

Hall of Fame : Seamus Caulfield

Junior Player of the Year : J. P. Guiheen

Clubperson of the Year: Michéal Forde

A presentation will also be made to the 1981 Team, and the selectors, who won the North Mayo

Championship.

 

Death

Sympathy is extended to the family, relatives and friends of Ellie Gardiner who died recently in England (Sister of Walter Robinson) .

‘Spring Fling'

Lacken Community Care are holding their annual ‘Spring Fling' social night on Friday 1st April in Lacken Recreation Centre, Banagher from 9.00p.m. – 11.00p.m. with music by Pat's Country Roadshow. Admission €5.

‘Kiddies Korner' AGM will be held on Wednesday 30th March at 8.30p.m. in the Playschool in Ballycastle.

 

‘Kiddies Korner' Playschool Ballycastle are holding their parents/enrolment night on Wednesday 6 th April at 8.30p.m. in the Playschool.
