31st : Children's Halloween games in the Shambles 5 –
7p.m., scary story telling, scary movie, music, scary ghosts
in attendance, followed by party. Admission €2.

highlight of the Halloween activities takes place in Katie
Macs on Halloween night. Fancy dress a must (but not essential)
. Free punch for anyone who dresses up. Some hilarious
adult Halloween games have been planned. Prizes for the best
male/female costume. Free admission. Commencing at 9.00p.m.

Anniversary
of Lacken Drowning Disaster
On
28th October 1927, nine men from Lacken lost their lives in
a sudden storm. Eight of the men were on board ‘The Rose of
Lacken' and their bodies were never recovered. Mass in memory
of the drowned will be commemorated at Lacken Pier on Sunday
27th October at 3pm. All are welcome to come and take time
to honour those lost – ‘gone but never forgotten'.

Ballinglen Arts Foundation, Main Street , Ballycastle are
pleased to present “A Drawing for Everything” an exhibition
of paintings and drawings by Nuala Clarke. The exhibition
continues until December 20th. Nuala, a returning fellow
to Ballinglen, lives in Killala.
