West Coast Vintage Society

Tractor Run in memory of Aidan Tighe and Peter Sweeney on Sunday 28th January at 11.00a.m. starting at the Resource Centre, Ballycastle. Proceeds from the run will be donated to The Irish Cancer Society. All tractors, cars and bikes (new and old) will be welcome. Refreshments will be served afterwards.

Groundbreaking Event - arrival of construction crew for start of Museum of Contemporary Art build on Friday 26th January at 2.00 p.m.

Deaths

Sympathy is extended to the families, relatives and friends of Harry Joynt, Suífinn Way who died recently and Tom Corcoran who died in Australia (Brother of the late Pat Corcoran, Sea Road and the late Bridget Langan, Carrowcur).

Seaview Fundraiser

A big thank you to Frank, Mary and staff of McNamees who sold tickets for Seaview resident's fundraiser.  The hamper was won by Annette Garry on Saturday night. The number drawn in the national lottery was 34. Raffle tickets for the other two hampers are still available in John Burkes and Healy's Bar.

 

Ballycastle Yoga

A 5-week yoga course suitable for beginners, gentle stretching, with breathing & mindfulness techniques starts Thursday 25th January 2018 in Ballycastle Resource Centre 7.30 – 8.45pm. €50.00 for 5 classes  or €12.00 drop in class.

‘Lip Stink the Rivals'

The voices are been trained and the dodgy dance moves are being polished in Ballycastle as we speak.

Ballycastle GAA and Kiddies Korner Playschool are currently gearing up for their ‘Lip Stink the Rivals' which takes place in Ballycastle Community Hall on the 10th February at 8.30p.m. Doors open at 7.30p.m.

 

Athletic Club

Ballycastle A.C. AGM will take place on Saturday 3rd February at 8.00p.m. in the Community Hall.

 

Annual Membership now due.

 

Training on Friday evenings at 6.30p.m. and Couch to 5K every Saturday morning at 10.00a.m. from the Community Hall.

 

Cycling Club

Ballycastle Cycling Club spins every Sunday morning at 8am, every ability catered for.

 

The club's annual weekend away will be in July, when we hope to complete the 180km of the Ring of Kerry. For more details contact Máirtin Flannery.

Bingo will resume in Ballycastle Community Hall on Monday 5th February at 8.30p.m.
