Congratulations to St. Brigid's National School Ballycastle who won two Cups at the Cumann na mBunscoil Ballina Area Football finals.

In the Div 4 League on Sunday 21st , Ballycastle were defeated by The Neale despite some great saves by goalkeeper Jason O'Neill.

Deaths

Sympathy is extended to the families, relatives and friends of Mary O'Donnell, (sister of Anne Harrison, Carrowcubic) who died recently in Dublin and Martin Scott, late of Carrowniskey (brother of the late Tommy) who died in New York.

 

Mayo Roscommon Hospice

The walk in Ballycastle on Sunday 7th May raised 6,690Euro in aid of Mayo/Roscommon Hospice.   The cheque was presented to Cynthia Clampett from Mayo/Roscommon Hospice on Monday night in Mary's Tea Rooms, Ballycastle.   Many thanks to all who took part in the walk and all who supported.
