Christmas Event

Well done to the Events Committee who created a Christmas wonderland in the Community Hall on Sunday evening and to all the musicians and singers who helped make it a very enjoyable evening.

 

Death

The death occurred on Thursday morning last of Seán Healy, Main Street . Sympathy is extended to his wife Eileen, his two sisters, extended family, relatives and friends.

May his soul rest in peace.

Ballycastle Cycling Club

Ballycastle Cycling Club is delighted to announce the first ever New Year leisure cycle.
The race route is one 35km loop and will travel from the Shambles Ballycastle, The Glen to Kincon, turning left on the main Crossmolina /Killala road, back through Killala where we hope to have refreshments and a 20 min break, After we have re-fueled we hope to head out the main Ballycastle Road and will f inish outside the Shambles.
Sign on for the event at the Shambles at 11:45 on New Year's day 1st January.
The Leisure Spin will leave Ballycastle at 12.15pm
NO HELMET NO CYCLE!!!

Next outing to Strandhill Golf Club on Saturday 28/12/13. 1 st tee 10.30am

All players be there for 9.30am as draw will be made that morning for scramble format. Visitors welcome. Can all players bring a prize for the open draw at the end.

Craft Shop is located in the Resource Centre, Upper Main Street stocking goods by local craftworkers e.g. knitwear, crochet, handmade cards, wooden bowls, cushions, cot quilts, etc.

Ballycastle souvenir items e.g. candles, fridge magnets, keyrings, biros, teabag holders, St. Brigid's crosses and more.

Also, Paintings by local artists, Mayo Crystal and a range of other items.

Tourist Information, Photocopying, Laminating, Typing.

Monday – Friday 10.00a.m. – 5.00p.m. (closed for lunch 1 – 2.00p.m.)

Library is located in the VEC Building (former Secondary School) and is open on Wednesdays from 9.30a.m. – 4.00p.m.

Exercise Club meet each Tuesday at 11.00a.m. in Daycare Centre, Suífinn Way .
