Kiddies Korner

Kiddies Korner are starting a super draw. This means that for €5 per week you could be entered for a

bi-annual draw with prize funds to the value of €14,000. This is a confined draw with a maximum number of 150 participants and a minimum number of 100 participants.

The 1st draw will take place at the end of November with the second at the end of March.

There will be 5 prizes of €1,000 and 4 prizes of €500 at each draw. These prizes are based on 100 participants, and will increase if more than 100 people join.

The cost to enter the draw is €260 per year. Interested parties can pay this in a number of ways:

  • Once off payment of €260 by cash or cheque
  • 2 payments of €130 by cash or cheque
  • Weekly direct debit of €5
  • Direct debit every 4 weeks of €20

Road Run

Kilfian Vintage Club Road Run, in memory of Brendan Munnelly, on Easter Monday 6th April. Meet at McHales Pub, Kilfian at 12noon. Leave approx 1.00p.m. €20 per vehicle. Proceeds to Oncology Unit, Castlebar.

Only Irish Midnight Walk

This years Midnight (5Km) Walk will take place on Good Friday 3rd April  by following the ‘Yellow Brick Road' around the Breaffy Loop in Kilfian. As an added dimension to this year's venture the mystery Wizard will be on the route as you pass along on the Yellow Brick Road . Who can it be remains a mystery and you can enter the ‘Guess the Wizard's Name' draw in the clubhouse before and after the walk. There will be clues along the route and also in the clubhouse. Entry for this draw is just €2 per guess and the winner will receive half the Wizard's pot. Registration for the walk is €10 with juniors €5. Following last year's success the club are looking forward to welcoming even more participants this year. There will also be Sky Lanterns and others as well as novelties for juniors. Refreshments served afterwards. This is the only Midnight Walk in Ireland and is suitable for all ages. Please do not bring pets.

 

Golf Society

Next outing is to Westport Golf Club on Saturday 4th April. 1st tee is at 10am. Be there for 9.30am

Deposits and names for away trip to Bundoran on weekend of June 5th /6th will be taken at Westport outing.

Ballycastle souvenir items e.g. candles, fridge magnets, keyrings, bookmarks, biros, teabag holders, St. Brigid's crosses, Mayo Crystal and a range of other items.
