It contains pisreoga, paidreacha, beanachtaí, mallachtaí (some of the latter would'nt pass the Censor), rannta, focal, seanfhocla, triads etc. A dictionary of North Mayo Gaelic words and period photographs of the region.

Included also are short accounts of North Mayo heroes and legends.

This hardcover book, containing over five hundred pages, retails at €30. Though written in Irish, the book has a full English translation.
