Céide Fields

The Céide Fields outdoor site opened again to the public, free of charge, on 22nd May.

Open every day from 10.00a.m. – 5.00p.m. The construction work on the exciting all new exhibitions in the Visitor Centre has restarted so the café and toilets will not be available.

 

Deaths

The death occurred on 18th May of Michael Langan, Doonfeeney, Ballycastle.

Sympathy is extended to his wife Bridget, daughters Nicola and Clare, son-in-law Keith, grandchildren Connor and Aaron, brother P.J., sister Philomena, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.

 

The death occurred on 21st May of Brian Polke, (Polke's of Ballycastle), Main Street, Ballycastle. Sympathy is extended to his wife Sheila, daughters Aileen, Eithne and Una,

son Martin, grandchildren Niall, Megan and Robert, daughter-in-law Rose, son-in-law Omar, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.

 

Sympathy is also extended to the family, relatives and friends of Margaret Tomas, Athone who died recently (wife of Michael Tomas, formerly from Belderrig).

May she rest in peace.

 

Ballinglen Exhibition

Exhibition “Working between colour and tone – 35 artist's use of colour and black and white”

continues in the Ballinglen Museum of Art, Main Street, Ballycastle, Co. Mayo.
