Deaths

Sympathy is extended to the family, relatives and friends of Patrick Sheerin, (Brother of Anne Greene) who died recently in Cavan.

Sympathy is also extended to the family, relatives and friends of Michael Hoban, Ratheskin who died last week (Brother of Paddy Joe, Seaview, John James, Suifinn and Sr. Bridie, former teacher in Ballycastle National School ).

 

The death occurred on Monday 26th of Kevin Earley, Billoose, Carrowmore Lacken. Sympathy is extended to his daughters Maureen & Helen and sons Michéal and Martin,

brother Johnny (Killerduff), relatives and friends. His remains will be brought to Lacken Church this

Wednesday evening with burial tomorrow in Rathfran Cemetery .

 

Dinner Dance

Annual G.A.A./Parish Dinner Dance will take place on Saturday 7th February at 8.30p.m. in Hineys, Crossmolina. Music by The Duets.

Ballycastle play Kilfian in the first round of the Winter League on Sunday next 1st February, at 12.00noon in Tom Langan Park , Ballycastle.

 

G.A.A. Training

Under-age training continues in the Hall on Wednesdays for U-10's from 6.30p.m. to 7.30p.m. and U-14's from 7.30p.m. – 8.30p.m.

Killerduff Pier

An important meeting regarding the development of Killerduff Pier will be held on Saturday 31st January at 9.00p.m. in Seaview Lounge. Local representatives will be in attendance.

 

Hospice

Annual Hospice Walk will take place in Ballycastle on Sunday 7th June at 3.00p.m. starting at Healys.

Yoga

Yoga course commencing on Wednesday 18th February '09 in Ballycastle Resource Centre.   This is a 7 week course with a Morning Class of gentle yoga from 11.00a.m. to 12.30p.m. including colour, dance and sound and an Evening class for ongoing and beginners from 8.00p.m. – 9.30p.m.

Fee:   70euro for 7 weeks payable at beginning of course.

Tutor:   Ishtar, colour therapist, teacher of yoga and dancing the rainbow.

Bingo continues in Ballycastle Community Hall on Monday nights at 8.30p.m.

 

Grand Draw

Draw has been deferred to Sunday 22nd March and will take place in Ballycastle Hall.

Irish Pilgrimage Trust Church gate collection on Saturday 31st January and Sunday 1st February. Money raised is to send children with special needs to Lourdes .
