Ballinglen Exhibitions

The Ballinglen Museum of Art, Ballycastle, Co. Mayo is pleased to announce the
upcoming Major exhibition:

Stoney Road Press: Twenty Years – A Survey

The exhibition itself is an important event on the visual arts calendar. It has been
generated and curated by The Ballinglen Museum of Art in partnership with

Stoney Road Press in memory of the co-founder James O'Nolan (1952-2018).
The exhibition will be open 2nd August – 31st October .
The Ballinglen Museum of Art is located on Main Street, Ballycastle, Co Mayo F26

2nd Exhibition

The Ballinglen Gallery: "not yet saved" is an exhibition of new paintings by Mayo artist Jo Killalea.

Opening 4th August until 31st August

 

Opening hours are 12 – 5 pm   .
Admission is free/donations gladly accepted.
Wheelchair accessible.

Sympathy

The death occurred on 25th July of Teresa McGee (née Nealon), Knocknacarra, Galway and formerly

of Ballyknock, Ballycastle. Predeceased by her brother Joe.

Sympathy is extended to her sons Alan and Stuart, daughters-in-law Fiona and Sarah,

grandsons Ryan and Aidan, her brother Chris, sisters Ann and Angela,

sister-in-law Rose, brother-in-law Tom, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Ballycastle Community Hall gym is now open by appointment only.

Morning sessions from 9am -1pm and evenings from 5pm -9pm.

Céide Fields

The Céide Fields outdoor site is open to the public, every day free of charge from 10a.m. to 5pm.

The construction work on the exciting all new exhibitions in the Visitor Centre has restarted so the café and toilets will not be available.
