Scoil Naomh Bríd (St. Brigid's National School ) re-opens on 29th August for Staff and on 30th August at 9.20a.m. for all pupils.

Cancer Care West

Healyfest Barbeque raised €1,030 in aid of Cancer Care West. Thanks to all who contributed.

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)

A two day ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) course will
be held in Ballycastle Community Hall on (Wednesday and Thursday) 19th and
20th September. This practical first aid for suicide course, which is free
of charge, is organized by HSE Suicide Prevention Department with Iorras Le
Chéile. It is open to everyone over the age of 18 and will be of particular
benefit to parents and those who work with members of the public. This
includes those in service industries, clergy, care workers, guards, and
those working with statutory and voluntary groups. Participants must be able
to complete the two full days from 9am to 5pm. Places are limited and must
be booked in advance by telephoning Rose Conway-Walsh on 097 20828.

 

Art Exhibition

Ballycastle Art Group's Annual Art Exhibition ‘Faces and Places' will remain open Monday – Friday 10.00a.m. – 5.00p.m. in the Resource Centre Art Gallery , Ballycastle.

Outdoor Gym

The new outdoor fitness gym is finally installed in Suífinn Way Estate and open to anybody over the age of 50. The equipment is clearly marked with instructions on how to use each individual piece.
