Church Notice

St. Bridget's Church, Ballycastle reopened for public Masses last weekend.

Mass intentions for next weekend are:

Saturday (1st August) 7.00p.m.: John Walsh (Kilbride)

Sunday (2nd August) 11.30a.m.: John Barrett (Month's Mind)

 

If Mass is requested during the week, it will be celebrated on Wednesdays.

Junior Championship:

Ballycastle v Cill Chomain on Sunday at 1.00p.m. in Tom Langan Park , Ballycastle.

Due to covid-19 restrictions, admission will be by ticket only (tickets had to be ordered by 12noon yesterday).

 

Michael Walsh Junior League:

Ballycastle: 1 – 10; Kilmovee Shamrocks: 0 – 06.

 

50/50 Draw:

Ballycastle GAA Club held their 50/50 Draw on Sunday 26th July.

Congratulations to the winner Síomhna Breslin (€174.50).

Tickets can be purchased in McNamees XL, Siopa Suifinn and the Post office - €2 each or three envelopes for €5. It is also possible to play online at lottoraiser.ie/Ballycastle

 

Death

Sympathy is extended to the family, relatives and friends of Cathal Connolly, Belderrig who died recently. May he rest in peace.

 

Drive-in Bingo

Kiltane GAA presents Mega Drive-In Bingo in Kiltane GAA Grounds, Bangor-Erris on Bank Holiday Monday 3rd August.  Grounds open at 4pm & bingo starts at 5pm.   €1000 Jackpot Game.

Ceide Fields

The Céide Fields neolithic site is now open to visitors but the visitor centre, café and toilets remain closed. There is no charge and the very knowledgeable Guide staff are on site to answer any questions and provide directions.

First Communion

The First Holy Communion Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 10th October at 12.00noon. There will be seven children in the class.

Ballycastle Gym

Ballycastle Community Hall Gym is now open. All sessions must be pre booked.

Garda in attendance
