Ballycastle G.A.A. Annual Card Game will take place on Sunday 6th November in Ballycastle Hall at 8.30p.m.

Ballycastle GAA AGM takes place on November 11th at 8.30pm in the Hall. Everyone welcome. Cairde Baile an Chaisil will be launched on the night.

 

Death

Sympathy is extended to the sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends of Mrs Bridget Doherty, Belderrig Beg who died last week (Mother of Seamus (Carrowcubic) and Michael (Doonfeeney).

May she rest in peace.

 

Christmas Fair

Annual Christmas Fair will take place in Ballycastle on Saturday 26th November from 12noon – 6.00pm and 8.00pm – 9.30pm & Sunday 27th November from 12noon – 4.00pm. with a large variety of hand-made crafts and home baking.

Raffle for Hamper and other prizes. Admission Free. All welcome.

Halloween spooky walk

A big thank you to everyone who helped out on the Halloween spooky walk. A great time was had by young and old and we hope to run this event again in 2017. Congratulations to Healy's Bar who won first prize in the Halloween window display and to Geraldine O'Connor who came second. 

The guys behind the spooky walk hope to organise a Christmas event, more details in the coming weeks.

 

Art Classes for Adults

Exercise Group continues on Tuesdays in Suífinn Centre at 11.30a.m. New members welcome.

 

Cycling fitness

Cycling Turbo training will take place after Halloween and is open to everyone.

Baile an Chaisil Cycling Club have a number of spare turbo trainers that can be borrowed for the session but these are on first come first served basis. Garda will attend at Ballycastle Community Hall from 2 – 3pm on the 1st Wednesday of every month.

Opening times for the Gymnasium in Ballycastle Community Hall are:

Saturday 10.00a.m. – 1.30p.m.

Prices: €5 per visit, €20 per month, €50 for 3 months or €120 per year.

 

Irish Dancing classes
