GAA season got off to a great start on Saturday 26th with
a win in the 1st round of the League with a 9 point win over
Claremorris B.
Final
Score : Ballycastle: 3-11; Claremorris B: 0-11.
This
was followed by a great night at the Club's Annual Presentation
night in Hiney's, Crossmolina. On the night Guest Speaker
Brian Ruane made presentations to the following:
Dr.
Seamus Caulfield – Hall of Fame Recipient
Mayo
U-21 Panelist Michéal Forde - Clubperson of the
Year. This was a huge honour as the recipient received the
Aidan Tighe Memorial Cup presented by the Tighe family.

Guiheen - Junior Player of the Year
Also
honoured on the night were the members and selectors of the
'81 team on the 30th anniversary of their winning the North
Mayo Championship.
