Wedding

Congratulations to Shannen Flannery,  Seaview place, Ballycastle, Daughter of Máirtin and Rosaleen Flannery, who married Charlie Ward in Boyle, Co. Roscommon last week.

Sympathy

The death occurred on Tuesday 3rd August of Martin Doherty, Suífinn Way, Ballycastle.

Sympathy is extended to his nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Removal from Lynn 's Funeral Home, Killala on Friday at 11.30a.m. to St. Bridget's Church, Ballycastle for Funeral Mass at 12.00noon. followed by burial in Ballycastle Cemetery .

 

Ballinglen Exhibitions

Major exhibition: Stoney Road Press: Twenty Years – A Survey is now on in the Ballinglen Museum of Art, Ballycastle, Co. Mayo

The exhibition itself is an important event on the visual arts calendar. It has been
generated and curated by The Ballinglen Museum of Art in partnership with

Stoney Road Press in memory of the co-founder James O'Nolan (1952-2018).
The exhibition will run until 31st October.
The Ballinglen Museum of Art is located on Main Street, Ballycastle, Co Mayo F26 RX61.

2nd Exhibition

The Ballinglen Gallery: "not yet saved" is an exhibition of new paintings by Mayo artist Jo Killalea.

Opening 4th August until 31st August

 

Opening hours are 12 – 5 pm   .
Admission is free/donations gladly accepted.
Wheelchair accessible.

Céide Fields

The Céide Fields outdoor site is open to the public, every day free of charge from 10a.m. to 5pm. The construction work on the exciting all new exhibitions in the Visitor Centre has restarted so the café and toilets will not be available.
