Recital

The Classical Music Group “The Whistleblast Quartet”   performed a very enjoyable recital on Thursday

28th September in St. Brigid's Church, Ballycastle.   Well Done to the children of Ballycastle National School who performed an excellent piece with the Quartet.

Sympathy is extended to the family, relatives and friends of Delia Commins, Moygownagh and late of Kilfian who died on Saturday 30th September   (Mother of Rita McLucas).

Sympathy is also extended to the family, relatives and friends of Nan Gillespie (Sister of the late Bridget Tighe, Larragon) who died recently and Mary McMahon, Ballina who died recently at Céide.

Social Housing

The development of Social Housing in Ballycastle is about to commence.   The Committee invite locals to suggest a name for the new Estate, keeping in mind local place names and any historical background.   Suggestions can be given in to the Resource Centre on Monday 9th October or by telephone to 096 – 43946.

The person with the most appropriate suggestion will be a Guest of Honour at the Sod turning ceremony.
