Art Exhibition

Art Exhibition depicting ‘The Wild Atlantic Way' in the Gallery, upstairs in the Resource Centre, will remain open Monday – Friday 10.00a.m. – 5.00p.m. for the next few weeks. All welcome to view this latest Exhibition of paintings by local artists.

 

50/50 Weekly Draw

Ballycastle GAA held their first 50/50 Weekly Draw on the 3rd August and congratulations to

Joe Gardiner who won €460. Draw will take place on Saturday nights from now on. Tickets are on sale in all local Businesses.

The draw is simple but very effective, every Saturday someone will win 50% of all the money collected and the other 50% will go to Ballycastle GAA club who are fund raising to carry out important maintenance and improvement work to the Tom Langan Memorial Pitch.

 

Cycling Club

After a Busy few weeks organising the Giro de Baile, the Club Spins start back this Saturday at 10:00am and Wednesday at 7:30 from XL Killala and the Shambles Ballycastle. Killala group take the Crossmolina road towards Kincon and Ballycastle Group take the Glen road towards Kincon meeting half way.

If the Giro de Baile has inspired you to take up cycling why not join us on a spin. Remember the club motto - We only go as fast as the slowest person and no one's left behind.

Next Club Outing:

Ballina Cycling Club together with Lionbridge are organising a Gift for Life cycle on August 16th to help promote Organ Donation. Two fabulous routes to choose from - 62km or 105km. Open to everyone free of charge, all we ask is that you have a donor card or you get a friend to sign up for a donor card.

Killala Coast Guard

Killala Coast Guard are 25years in operation this year.  On 9th August from 2pm-5pm the unit are holding an open day at their station house on the pier in Killala and all are welcome.

Mayo Job Club

If interested in taking part in this course from Mon 10th August – Fri 21st August 2015 in The Barracks, Glen Road , Ballycastle, Mon – Fri from 10am – 1pm. Contact 086-0889010. €40 paid to each participant towards travel. The Job Club is a training course which provides guidance in: CV Preparation, Interview Skills and Job Resourcing. It is for unemployed people who want to find work, to upskill, to change careers or to return to education.
