Welcome Inn League Result :

Ballycastle enjoyed an excellent home win over Moy Davitts B on Sun 3rd May in Tom Langan Park . This is a team that Ballycastle have failed to beat in the previous three years. The half time score was 0-7 to 0-3 in favour of the home side and the sides seemed evenly matched. After the break, goals from Patrick Tighe and Aodhan Tighe saw Ballycastle pull away. This was a good all round display with Moy Davitts trying hard for the full 60 minutes. Shane Forde had an excellent game at midfield for the home side on his first game back at the club, as did Jonathan Mc Nulty at corner back. Referee Martin Corcoran also must be complimented for an excellent performance.

The final score was Ballycastle: 2- 09; Moy Davitts: 0- 06.

Ballycastle team : Mairtin Flannery, Jonathan Mc Nulty, Daniel Forde,

John Paul Guiheen (0-1), John Carey, Daniel Kelly, Gerard Nealon, Shane Forde (0-4), Shane Healy (0-1), Martin Gardiner, Fergus Tighe (0-1), Andrew Tighe (0-1),

Patrick Tighe (1-1), Mark Gaughan, Michael Forde.

Subs: Michael Jackson, Aodhan Tighe (1-0), Tom Gaughan, Patrick Mc Nulty.
