Missing Person

The search is continuing along the North Mayo Coast for missing schoolteacher Anthony O'Malley (30yrs) from Louisburgh, Co. Mayo who is missing since Christmas Eve. His car was located near Downpatrick Head on Christmas Day.

Deaths

The death occurred recently of Paddy McHale, Sea Road , Ballycastle. Sympathy is extended to Michéal

& Antoinette Jackson and family, Martina, Geraldine, Angela, Nollag, Frank, relatives and friends.

Sympathy is also extended to the families, relatives and friends of Gertrude Clarke, Carrowmore (mother of Henry) and Eibhlín Daly, Dublin (sister of Joe Greene, Main Street ) who died recently.

At the AGM of Ballycastle GAA Club held on 3rd January, the Chairman thanked all who helped during the year, sponsors, fundraisers and anybody that helped in any way. It was agreed to amalgamate with Round Towers for underage teams. Treasurer reported that the club was in a healthy state financially.
