Congratulations

Congratulations to Richard Bonner who finished in the top three at the National Skills Competition for plasterwork. The competition was held at the Cork Institute of Technology recently. Richard is a student at Athlone Institute of Technology.

 

Death

The death occurred on Wednesday 1st of Kathleen Bourke (nee Hefferon), Doonfeeney.

Sympathy is extended to her son Tommy & daughter-in-law Attracta, (Doonfeeney), daughter Pauline & son-in-law Frank, sisters Veronica & Pauline, nephew Martin McGuire (Ballyknock), nieces Gabriel & Grace, relatives and friends.

Underage Teams: Ballycastle, Kilfian, Lacken and Killala have amalgamated for underage teams – Minor, U-16, U-14 & U-12 and play under the name ‘Naomh Pádraig'. Ballycastle representatives on the management of those teams are:

Minor: Daniel Forde; U-16: Mark Gaughan; U-14: J.P. Guiheen and Colette Healy; U-12: Michael Walsh.
