Fashion Show

A Fashion Show in aid of Ballycastle Community Playschool ( Kiddies Korner ) will be held on Friday next, 11th April in Ballycastle Parish Hall commencing at 7.30p.m.   Tickets are on sale at 10euro for adults, 5euro for students, National School children free.   All welcome.

Death

The death has occurred of Alfie Burke, Killeen (brother of Michael ( Killeen ), Jim, Pat, John, Nell, Mary and Bernard ( deceased ).   His remains will be brought to St. Brigid's Church this Tuesday evening at 7.30p.m. with burial Wednesday after 12.00 Mass.

Fleadh Mhaigh Eo

Fleadh Maigh Eo (Mayo Fleadh) will be hosted by Ballycastle on the weekend of May 10th/11th .   It is the annual celebration of Irish music, song, dance and labhairt na gaeilge.   There are numerous competitions for singers, musicians and set dancers from U-12's to over eighteens.  

Craobh Chois Muaidhe – the Moy Valley branch of Comhaltas – are organising this year's Fleadh and information about entries can be had from Teresa McAndrew at 096-72365.   Closing date for entries is 10th April.

The Exhibition of paintings by Ballycastle Art Group in Ballina Library continues until Wednesday

23rd April during Library opening hours.
