Death

The death occurred on Monday last of Aidan Tighe, Carrowmore, Ballycastle. Sincere sympathy is extended to his wife Susan, daughter Catherine, sons Aodhán and Fergus, brothers Tom & Raymond, sisters Anne & Jacqueline, nephews, grandchildren, relatives and friends. His remains will repose in

Lynn 's Funeral Home, Killala, tomorrow (Thursday) from 4.00p.m. with removal at 7.00p.m.to St. Bridget's Church, Ballycastle arriving at 7.30p.m. Funeral Mass on Friday at 12.00noon with burial afterwards in Ballycastle Cemetery . House private.

May he rest in peace.

Information sessions

Mayo North East LEADER Partnership Company is launching an innovative new project to stimulate potential and existing small food producers in the region.

Two information evenings are planned, with an experienced Food Specialist, for June 16th in the Gateway Hotel, Swinford and June 17th in the Community Centre, Killala, both at 9.00p.m. The sessions are free and everyone is welcome.

People interested in fruit and vegetables, chutney and jam making, home baking, cheese, dairy, caterers, salad producers, meat, fish and poultry products, organics and suppliers to Farmers Markets should attend.

Follow up will include one to one mentoring in topics such as food safety, food hygiene, legislation, routes to market, product development, packaging and labelling.
