Congratulations to Ballycastle Junior team on winning Mayo Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta JFC Final in Kiltane on Sunday last and congratulations also to Michéal Forde on his ‘Man of the Match' award.

Death

The death has occurred of Peter Burke, Claremorris, London and late of Carrowcur, Ballycastle. Sympathy is extended to his wife Mary, brothers Mickey (Carrowcur) and Martin ( London ), sisters Mary Delaney (Carrowcubic), Kathleen, Julia and Margaret, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. His remains will be brought from Lynn 's Funeral Home, Killala this Wednesday evening to St. Brigid's Church, Ballycastle with burial tomorrow after 12.00noon Mass to Ballycastle Cemetery .

Mayo/Roscommon Hospice is looking for volunteers to take part in the Western People West of Ireland Ladies Mini-Marathon on Sunday May 1 st (Bank Holiday Weekend) in Castlebar or the Women's Mini-Marathon in Dublin on Bank Holiday Monday June 6 th .
