Chairman: Tommy Burke Secretary: Martin Maguire Treasurer: Bridget Langan The committee was set up in February 1999 and have given the graveyard a general clean-up, kept the grass cut, repaired stone walls and opened an entrance to the old church and put a gate in place here. They have purchased 4 strimmers to keep the grass cut. They organise Mass in the graveyard during the Summer and Rosary during November. In May 2000, Mass was said at the old Church by Canon Sean Killeen and Bishop Thomas Finnegan was present. Mass has been celebrated at the old Church in August each year since then. |
