Ballina Civic Offices Gallery Space:  7.30 p.m.

Book Launch on the night ‘The Foggy Dew', Mick O'Dea
with an Essay by Dr Ciaran O'Neill, Ussher Professor, Trinity College .

Talk by Sinéad Mc Coole in both venues - Irish historian, curator, broadcaster and author of ‘Easter Widows' on widows of the men executed in 1916.

Art work exhibited at The Ballinglen Gallery will include portraits by Mick O'Dea of Tom Clarke, Eamon de Valera, Patrick Pearse and James Connolly to name but a few of up to 20 wonderful portraits in total.

Refreshments will be available and all are welcome so please come along and take this fantastic opportunity to view these amazing works of art on exhibition here in County Mayo in the Centenary year.  Free admission.

This is a collaborative publication and exhibition between The Ballinglen Arts Foundation, Ballina Arts Centre & The Royal Hibernian Academy and Mayo County Council with support from the 2016 Commemorations Committee of the Department of the Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht.

Cycling Club

Following on from the success of our Bike week event it has been decided to continue Adult/Family spins every second Thursday starting this Thursday at 7pm from Tom Langan Park.

Calling all cyclists, dust down the bikes as the Giro de Baile takes place Sunday 31st July at 10:00am from Main Street, Ballycastle, Co. Mayo.

We also will have a Family/Vintage cycle on Saturday 30th from the Community Hall.
